Salary: £44,544
Contract -Full-time | Permanent – 35 hours per week (plus 5 hours paid lunch)

About the Role
As our Learning & Development Partner, you’ll work at the heart of our People and Organisation Development team, reporting to the Head of Talent & Development and leading our Senior L&D Coordinator.
You'll work collaboratively with an extended team across Nacro to design and deliver innovative L&D programmes that strengthen capability across the organisation – from induction, onboarding and mandatory training to management essentials and specialist skill-building. This role is central to creating a positive, performance-driven culture at Nacro
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and embed a cross-organisation competency framework to support recruitment, development, and performance.
- Collaborate across directorates to design and implement a consistent, inclusive L&D curriculum.
- Lead on Learning needs analysis and L&D evaluation using real data to shape learning strategy and ensure continuous improvement.
- Design engaging in-house, e-learning, and blended programmes aligned with adult learning theory.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external training providers to deliver high-impact, cost-effective solutions.
- Help lead L&D transformation through digital learning tools and our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Support ‘work access’ development pathways such as internships, apprenticeships, and trainee schemes.
- Maximise the use of the Apprenticeship Levy by identifying opportunities to fund development pathways for both new and existing staff, including apprenticeships at all levels, while aligning spend with organisational priorities and workforce planning.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience designing and delivering adult learning programmes across technical and professional skill areas.
- Expertise in competency framework development, L&D evaluation, and programme planning.
- A collaborative style and strong stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading an L&D function and developing others. - Confidence with data and insight-driven decision making.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive learning design.
- Experience managing a Learning Management System and delivering in a matrix or dispersed organisation.

Please note: The selection process will require a 2-stage interview in person.
The first interview will be held on the 14/05/2025 entailing a scenario-based task followed by interview questions.
Should you be successful with your first stage interview, you will be invited for a second and final stage interview, entailing a Learning & Development task followed by a Q&A with the panel.
