The Leasing Finance and Commercial Lead will be responsible for the effective financial administration for the acquisition, retention and decommissioning of leased properties across a national team. They will lead the day-to-day financial arrangements in relation to the property leasing function for Nacro.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead on day-to-day financial arrangements in relation to the property leasing function for Nacro.
- Lead on the provision of effective financial administration for the acquisition, retention and decommissioning of leased properties across a national team.
- Maintain appropriate spend tracking and audit records for relevant Property Leasing activities, seeking approvals from managers with appropriate delegated authority levels.
- Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of landlord incentives and associated financial arrangements for each operational business stream in relation to lease costs
- Establish good working relationships and credibility with functional business partners across Nacro Directorates, in particular Finance Business Partners for CAS2 and Commissioned/Step Forward Housing business streams
- Provide management and oversight of all lease related costs to include performance against contractual and operational requirements and specific ring-fenced funds.
- Support budget setting by tracking expenditure and projecting future spending commitments in relation to Landlord Incentive and Dilapidations works.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications Required:
- Practical experience in Housing, Property Finance Management or Procurement in the Social Housing Sector or other similar sectors.
- Experience of team management.
- Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
Financial Qualification or working towards any qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ICEAW or CIMA.
