Salary: £35,235 per annum + Benefits

Hours: 35 hours per week (+ 5 hours paid lunch)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) & Legal Advisor to join our Central Housing Management Team. In this position, you will be expected to travel to assist with training/attend meetings and to represent Nacro at court. You will maintain and a record and monitor all ASB cases across Nacro Services. Our services are geographically spread across England and Wales so this may also include occasional  overnight stays.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced housing professional who is passionate about fostering joint agency collaboration among operational teams, Local Authority housing departments, social services, emergency services  and other external agencies . You will provide vital support and relevant information to front-line officers managing neighbour nuisance, anti-social behaviour, and complex tenure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  •       Implement early intervention and prevention strategies, working with customers, Supported Housing Officers, and Support staff to resolve issues promptly.
  •       Support directly where serious cases of neighbour nuisance, anti-social behaviour , including where closure orders and county lines activity have been identified..
  •       Support in the Preparation of  witness statements, Injunction/Possession Applications, and other legal remedies, and represent Nacro in court alongside Housing        Service Leads and their teams.·
  •       Provide training, support, and build strong working relationships with local teams.
  •      Attend public meetings, these can often be outside normal working hours,
  •      Maintain a directory of local partnership forums to discuss community issues and ASB matters.

Experience Required:

  •        Minimum of 2 years’ housing management experience at the court level.
  •       Proven track record in dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour and tenure breaches, including prevention and legal remedies.
  •       Understanding of ASB within a supported housing environment and various management strategies.
