Job type - Full time/ Permanent 
Salary - £21,310 (Inc £1300 Unsocial Hours) per annum

working pattern includes evenings and weekends 
Hours - 35 (plus 5 hours paid lunch break) 
Location –  Liverpool

Who are we looking for :

The Picton Road project provides 11 units of supported accommodation  to people with a background of offending. The project is staffed 24hrs a day by a team of 3 support workers and 2 night workers. The support worker role involves working 40hrs a week on a 3 week rolling rota which requires regular evening and weekend work. Formal qualifications are not needed.
but the role requires experience of providing support to  vulnerable people with a variety of  needs related to mental and physical health, alcohol and substance misuse.

As well as supporting our service users the role has responsibilities relating to housing management.  


Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Experience of working closely with outside agencies and stakeholders as well as up to date benefits experience and knowledge of Safeguarding is required.

-Knowledge of the Mainstay system  will also be beneficial, as this is used for management of referrals and support planning and recording.As well as supporting our service users the role has responsibilities relating to housing management.

-Assisting service users with housing benefit claims, monitoring rent accounts and following rent arrears procedure as required; carrying out regular Fire Safety and Health and Safety Checks, reporting maintenance, void management and induction of new service users. 

 The post holder should be familiar with quality standards and how these relate to the provision of Housing related support. Having a good understanding of Property Pool Plus and other routes into independent accommodation is required in order to assist our service users with move-on.
